The Role:

Our client is seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Consultant to join its dynamic Sales Team. This role is pivotal in accelerating the company’s growth and expanding its client base. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for crafting and executing effective sales strategies, engaging with potential clients, and uncovering new business opportunities to help us achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a clear, actionable sales plan that aligns with company objectives.
  • Set and achieve ambitious sales targets to drive sustained growth.
  • Support the Sales Team through proactive prospecting, including LinkedIn research and updates.
  • Make outbound calls to validate and research accounts (no cold calling).
  • Re-engage with lapsed and inactive accounts to generate new opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue new sectors to expand market footprint.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Track sales performance against goals and KPIs, and review weekly to ensure alignment.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Successful development and execution of the sales plan, meeting agreed-upon sales targets.
  • Strong collaboration with the Marketing team to generate and convert qualified leads.
  • Achievement of KPIs related to lead generation, conversion rates, and sales pipeline management.

Key Requirements:

  • 2-3 years in a sales role with a proven track record of success in meeting sales targets and developing sales strategies.
  • Experience in creating and executing sales plans and contributing to lead generation efforts.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems to manage sales pipelines effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences and channels.
  • Strong analytical abilities to evaluate data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally with teams and external stakeholders.
