Due to an internal promotion, Reed have partnered with a family run company in South Bristol, recruiting for an experienced sales and account management professional to drive and support their sales structure across Bristol and South West area. This role is a perfect blend of account management and new business generation, offering vast opportunities as every business is a potential client due to our extensive product and service range.

In this office-based position as Internal Sales Account Manager, you will be taking over from an experienced employee of 15 years who's now moving into a field based BDM role of which you'll be taking over their customer base, with an aim to grow this even further, alongside generating new business. 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver a strategic sales plan to expand the customer base and ensure a strong market presence.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business.
  • Achieve growth and sales targets as set by the company.
  • Stay informed about market shifts, new products, technologies, and the competitive landscape.
  • Analyse sales performance and develop strategies to meet and exceed targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a telesales, sales executive, or sales account manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong commercial/business acumen.
  • Essential new business development experience.
  • Proven track record in closing sales and achieving targets.
  • Process and target-driven.
  • Team player – working cooperatively with colleagues.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Outlook.
  • Full clean driving license is preferable.
