Business Development Manager - Regional Sales Manager - Bristol, Southwest, Wales and Ireland.

We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic, and driven Business Development Manager / Regional Sales Manager to play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base,driving sales growth in Bristol, a. This position is focused on identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and leveraging market expertise to align with our long-term strategic ambitions.
?? Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + car allowance ?? OTE: £80,000 (including commission and car) ?? Bonus/Commission: £8,000 - £10,000 if targets are met on bookings, then uncapped; Generous Car,pension, health schemes etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Intake
- Travel to sites across South West Wales and Ireland to deliver greater than budgeted sales from yourarea.
- Generate a long-term pipeline of projects and opportunities.
- Self-generate new business and projects without reliance on leads.
- Lead sales initiatives and devise strategies for growth based on customer needs and market intelligence.
- Create and manage forecasts on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis as required.
- Support marketing teams by providing input for sector or customercampaigns and collateral.
- Visit customers and attend/support exhibitions whenever needed to foster sales growth and build relationships.
Technical
- Develop and continuously expand fundamental technical knowledge and understanding of products and services offered.
- Build strong sector knowledge and a professional network.
- Maintain proficiency in CRM systems.
- Continuously seek ways to improve company procedures, standards, and policies.
Commercial
- Maximise ROI and profitability while maintaining financial responsibility at quoting stages to mitigate potential impact.
- Develop, present, and implement commercial offerings that enable sales growth.
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure commercial viability and appropriate product selection for customer solutions.
- Act as the voice of the customer within the business and promote a customer-centric culture.

Experience
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing long-term pipelines.
- Technical sales knowledge across various industries and multiple products.
- Proven experience as a sales professional, ideally within a manufacturing business specialising in cables, IT systems, TV or monitors or screens,display, touch panel, and embedded technology.
- Business development experience for a company that designs, manufactures, and supplies both individual components and complete product and software platform solutions..
- Previous CRM experience.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel across the whole of the South West, Wales and Ireland.
