Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Principal/Associate Civil Engineer to join a leading engineering consultancy, in a permanent position. As the successful candidate, you will be required to work on a hybrid basis from our client's Bristol office, 3 days a week on-site and 2 days working from home. Within this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of drainage and flood risk assessment projects, as a part of the civils team.

Responsibilities:

-Manage a variety of drainage and flood risk projects from start to finish, by producing and adapting technical designs, reports and documents, and supervise implementation.

-Conduct site inspections, involving looking to project risks, materials, and costs, whilst also producing solutions to issues and challenges.

-Put together cost proposals and support business progression to increase civil engineering services and clients.

-Work with junior engineers to expand their knowledge and to ensure the project is at a high standard and meeting cost, time, and design goals.

-Collaborate with clients and other professionals to ensure the project is meeting client satisfaction and following requirements.

What we are looking for:

-Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a similar field, and working towards, or at, a chartered status.

-Extensive experience working within a civil engineering consultancy, with a focus on design, site work, risk assessment, and cost estimation.

-Solid grasp of current engineering standards and policies, drainage, planning, and any relevant infrastructure work.

-Must have a strong technical background, with experience of liaising with clients, and working on business development.

-Leadership skills with the ability to manage a variety of teams, projects, and budgets, whilst maintaining rapport with clients.
