A specialist geotechnical consultancy is seeking an Engineering Geologist to join their team in Bristol. With multiple offices across the UK and award winning training provided, this is an excellent step into ground investigation consultancy.

The Engineering Geologist selected will be:

  • Assisting with site walkovers and carrying out ground investigations.
  • Completing desktop studies.
  • Taking soil samples.
  • Borehole logging.
  • Preparing phase plans.
  • Writing factual and interpretive reports.
  • Working on in situ testing.
  • Observing day-to-day tasks to develop geo-environmental & geotechnical knowledge.

The successful Engineering Geologist must have some experience in ground investigation with a good foundation of site work knowledge. You must have a minimum of a BSc in geology, environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, geoscience or a relevant subject (MSc preferable). Candidates must also hold a full UK driving licence, be commutable to Bristol and be happy to travel for work. A full right to work in the UK is essential.
