I'm working with an award-winning civil engineering consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering practical, imaginative solutions across sectors. With decades of experience and a proactive, people-first approach, they've built a trusted presence in the industry-and now they're investing in the next chapter of their Bristol office.
With a new Regional Director in place, the business is growing its presence in the South West and looking for a Principal Civil Engineer to help drive this expansion. What they're looking for:
Extensive UK consultancy experience, particularly in residential-led projects
Strong understanding of Section 278, 38, 185 & 104 agreements
Confident using AutoCAD, Civil3D, and WinDes/InfoDrainage (or similar)
Excellent client-facing, commercial and communication skills
Hands-on with design and delivery-someone who leads by example
Willingness to help grow the civils team-mentoring, line management, and project leadership
