This is an exciting opportunity to join my client, an innovative, industry-leading Multidisciplinary Consultancy, renowned for lending their expertise to the transport, infrastructure, and environmental landscapes. They are actively seeking a talented, experienced Senior Drainage Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure design who is willing to take on a variety of challenging projects alongside a growing team of professionals, based in the diverse, family-friendly city of Bristol.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Drainage Engineer include:
- Produce designs for drainage and highways with respect to the relevant Section Agreements (including S104, S38, and S278)
- Prepare technical assessments for new developments
- Check and amend technical drawings and reports for submission
- Support colleagues and clients in understanding technical concepts
- Prepare and supervise presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Manage projects, ensuring work is undertaken within budget and timeframes, to the highest of standards
- Liaise closely with clients and Project Managers regarding project delivery
- Ensure industry standards and regulations are complied with at all times
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Drainage Engineer include:
- A Bachelor's Degree (or higher qualification) in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, or a similar, relevant field
- Extensive experience of working in an infrastructure design role, within a UK-based consultancy setting
- Demonstrable experience of preparing designs in relation to the relevant Section Agreements (i.e., S38, S278, S104)
- Excellent working knowledge of the relevant software packages, including MicroDrainage, and/or Causeway Flow
- Experience of authoring Flood Risk Assessments and designing drainage strategies
- Competent in your knowledge of relevant design standards, including Sewers for Adoption, DMRB, national planning policy, etc.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civils 3D
- Good understanding of the Microsoft Office suite of applications (to include Word, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- A full, valid UK driving licence
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Drainage Engineer include:
- Outstanding literacy and numeracy skills
- Prior experience of managing stakeholders
