Assistant Building Surveyor - Role Overview
- Support with managing building surveying projects from inception to completion
- Assist in preparing specifications, schedules of works, and reports
- Attend site visits and client meetings across education and commercial sectors
- Carry out condition surveys, defect analysis, and measured surveys
- Assist with contract administration and project delivery
- Work closely with senior surveyors and directors to develop technical competence
- Progress towards chartership and increased project responsibility
Assistant Building Surveyor - Requirements
- 1-3 years' experience (post-degree or through a placement year)
- Degree in Building Surveying (essential)
- Working towards RICS chartership (support provided)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Based within commutable distance to Bristol
- Eager to progress and committed to a long-term role
