Civil Engineering Technician - Bristol (Consultancy)


Are you an ambitious Civil Engineering Technician looking to develop your career with a civils led design consultancy in Bristol?
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, growing consultancy that specialises in residential development design projects, covering:

  • Drainage design (private and adoptable)
  • Highways design (private and adoptable)
  • External works and earthworks


You will play an important role in supporting engineers with the delivery of innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions for clients across the residential sector.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Preparing detailed design drawings for drainage and highways schemes

  • Working with engineers on designs for Section 38, 104, 278 agreements

  • Producing technical drawings using AutoCAD

  • Using Site 3D software (experience desirable but not essential - training will be provided)

  • Supporting the preparation of engineering reports and documents


Requirements:


  • Proven experience using AutoCAD in a civil engineering design environment

  • Interest in residential development projects

  • Knowledge of drainage and highways design principles (preferred)

  • Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently within a consultancy team

  • Enthusiastic to learn new software and skills (training provided for Site 3D)
