An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fire Consultant to join a respected, employee-focused consultancy known for its collaborative culture and commitment to professional growth. As a Fire Consultant, you'll be responsible for providing a wide range of fire consultancy services across multiple sectors including residential, healthcare, custodial, education, and commercial properties. You'll work closely with clients, ensuring high technical standards, compliance, and value for money in every commission.
This position will suit a Fire Consultant with a solid technical background and a strong understanding of fire safety legislation and guidance. You'll take pride in your work, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and have the drive to contribute to a growing and dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct fire risk assessments across varied property portfolios.
- Undertake fire integrity and compartmentation surveys, identifying breaches and recommending remedial works.
- Prepare specifications and designs to support project delivery.
- Provide fire safety advice and technical monitoring on construction projects.
- Review contractors' proposals and advise on suitability and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
About You
- Level 3 Fire Safety qualification (minimum).
- Strong working knowledge of current and upcoming UK fire safety legislation.
- Experience in carrying out and reviewing fire risk assessments.
- Confident in client-facing roles and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Positive, team-oriented, and motivated to deliver excellence in fire safety.
