Access Talent Group are currently recruiting for a Medium sized International, multidiscipline design consultancy who are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to work in their Highways sector. This role will be based in Bristol within the consultancy team.

This Consultancy are looking for an Engineer with experience lead projects and mentor junior staff as a Senior Engineer. This engineer will have to have experience on a wide range of Highways design to support all major transportation and infrastructure projects. This consultancy are currently working on HS2 and completing all the Civil design works.

This Senior engineer will be looking to manage and mentor junior engineers. You will have to produce designs to a high standard as well as review and check work on projects. This role will involve some site visits and surveys to be carried out so experience in this would be advantageous.

Key points:

  • UK Design consultancy experience post graduate
  • Batchelors degree or higher in Civil Engineering
  • Contract preparation and procurement
  • An understanding of DMBR
  • An understanding and experience of Highways design, horizontal and verical allingmet as well as (section 278, 38)
  • Experience and ability to use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, OpenRoadsDriven to be working towards CEng (MICE, or CIWEM) status or have already.
