Juice Recruitment is delighted to be supporting an energy consultancy, with the appointment of a Business Development Executive to join their expanding team.
You will be instrumental in expanding their client base within the energy sector, focusing on gas, electricity, and water procurement services. This role involves proactively identifying and converting new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, and market research, while ensuring compliance and precision throughout the sales cycle. You will also support the promotion of additional services related to energy compliance and sustainability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Actively source and engage new business prospects through cold calling, outbound campaigns, networking events, and responding to inbound enquiries.

Build, manage, and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM systems and other prospecting tools.

Oversee the full sales process from initial contact to contract completion, ensuring all activities adhere to compliance standards and company protocols.

Collaborate with internal teams to prepare competitive proposals and pricing strategies.

Maintain complete and accurate sales documentation, ensuring all contracts and communications meet regulatory requirements.

Work closely with colleagues across departments to identify opportunities for cross-selling additional services such as energy compliance, metering solutions, and renewable energy projects.

Keep detailed and up-to-date records of all client interactions, proposals, and agreements within the CRM platform.
Requirements:

2+ years working in a B2B sales or business development role.

Confident and experienced in cold calling and proactive lead generation activities.

Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong commitment to compliance and accurate record-keeping.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
£30-38k basic salary + OTE
