Due to continued growth, Reed have partnered with a marketing leading company in Yatton, North Somerset to recruit for a highly analytical and solutions-driven Operational Support Lead to join on a full time, permanent basis.

This role supports the Customer Service Manager by handling cross-functional operational challenges such as pricing queries, export processes, planning bottlenecks, and data issues. This position does not involve line management but requires functional authority to coordinate between departments effectively.

Duties:

  • Act as a key operational contact across multiple departments including Customer Service, Planning, and Procurement.
  • Handle complex queries and coordinate cross-departmental issues to support ERP usage and facilitate project implementation.
  • Resolve pricing and export discrepancies, ensuring smooth operation and reducing over-reliance on senior management for routine escalations.
  • Support system data accuracy and complaint/pricing resolution.
  • Lead small projects and system changes across complaints handling and customer management.
  • Compile and interpret reports relating to KPIs, complaints, free of charge items, aged stock, etc.
  • Maintain a live issue tracker and assist in trend analysis and solution tracking.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of business systems and process flows.
  • Advanced Excel/data analysis skills.
  • Logical problem-solving approach; confident handling complex issues.
  • Experience in Customer Service, Procurement, or Planning.
  • Familiarity with exports, pricing workflows, and business process mapping.
  • Excellent communication skills across functions and at all levels.
  • Experience with ERP systems & flow.
  • Calm under pressure and well-organised.

Working Hours:

Monday - Thursday - 8.30am - 5.00pm (45 mins break)

Friday - 8.30am - 4.00pm (hour break)

Weston-super-Mare, Portishead, Clevedon, Nailsea, Backwell, Cheddar, Bridgwater and surrounding areas.

Ideally you will be a driver due to the location, unless you live close by, but there is free-parking onsite or a train station a short walk away.
