CNC Machinist - Milling & Turning

Location: Bristol

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

TEC Partners are working with a precision engineering company in Bristol who are looking to expand their skilled machining team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CNC Machinist to join a growing business that supplies high-quality components into the aerospace and advanced engineering sectors.

You'll be responsible for producing complex, high-precision components using state-of-the-art CNC machinery, working to tight tolerances and exacting customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and operate CNC lathes using Fanuc controls and/or 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls.
  • Manufacture high-complexity precision components from a variety of materials.
  • Interpret and work accurately from engineering drawings.
  • Ensure all work meets stringent quality standards and specifications.
  • Inspect components using micrometers, verniers, plug gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience setting and operating CNC lathes and/or milling machines.
  • Strong understanding of machining principles and manufacturing techniques.
  • Confident interpreting engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
  • Experience in the aerospace sector (desirable but not essential).
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit engineering team.
