Job Title: Electrical Supervisor - Avonmouth FFT (Contract, CIS)
Location: Avonmouth, UK
Rate: Circa 300 per day (CIS)
Duration: Contract Basis
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team on a contract basis at Avonmouth FFT. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a high-profile infrastructure project, offering long-term work for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise all electrical works on-site, ensuring compliance with health and safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Coordinate and manage electrical subcontractors and direct labour.
Interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications.
Ensure all installations are carried out according to BS7671 standards.
Manage day-to-day site activities, progress reporting, and issue resolution.
Liaise with the client, project management, and other trades to ensure smooth delivery.
Requirements:
ECS Gold Card - essential
18th Edition Wiring Regulations - essential
SSSTS or SMSTS - preferred
Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor on water or industrial projects
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, cable containment, and control systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents
Strong leadership and communication skills
Valid UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
Contract Details:
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing (long-term opportunity for the right candidate)
Payment: CIS, circa 300/day
