We are seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Manager to oversee all safety aspects of a significant infrastructure project located on the outskirts of Bristol. This role is pivotal in ensuring the health and safety of all personnel on-site and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

  • Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

  • Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety practices.

  • Maintain accurate records of safety incidents and compliance activities.

  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure all legal obligations are met.

  • Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement across the site.

  Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a Health & Safety Manager role within the construction or infrastructure sector.

  • Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.

  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
