Morson Edge are recruiting for a Health & Safety Officer to join prestigious client based in Bristol. This role is based fully on-site, offering a standard 35 hours per week. 

Our client is looking for a highly motivated, multi talented individual with a strong focus on organisational skills.

The candidate will be an integral team member enabling a swift and efficient turnaround of projects and general operations, under the guidance of the Workshop Manager.

Hourly Rate:

£29.00 per hour Umbrella / £21.68 per hour PAYE

Job Duties:

Health and Safety

  • Attending H&S champions meetings and reporting back to the team any pertinent issues or actions.
  • Maintaining HSE records and risk assessments.

Procurement

  • Assist with all types of procurement.
  • Track, expedite and goods receive procured items.
  • Keep ‘How to’ guide up to date outlining best practices.

Training Records

  • Monitor training needs for personnel and prompt refreshers for expired training.
  • Project/Financial tracking
  • Aiding the department to monitor and track (timescale and financial) the many varied projects that run concurrently within the department.
  • Liaise with customers where necessary.
  • Organisation and house keeping

Facilities

  • Report, monitor and track building/facilities issues.
  • Communications
  • Compile/Record Project Portfolio
  • To include photos and videos
  • Post articles of noteworthy projects to the Hub
