As the organisation continues its impressive growth trajectory, they are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Credit Controller to take full ownership of the credit control function and play a crucial role in maintaining strong financial performance and supporting commercial operations.Key Responsibilities

Customer On-boarding & Credit Assessment

  • Own the customer on-boarding process, conducting robust credit evaluations
  • Create and review credit data packs, including Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) analysis

Credit Limit Oversight

  • Set, monitor, and adjust customer credit limits based on risk and trading history
  • Review accounts regularly to reflect financial and behavioural changes

Credit Insurance

  • Arrange and maintain credit insurance aligned with customer exposure

Internal Stakeholder Partnership

  • Work alongside sales and operations to manage customer terms and mitigate risk
  • Recommend adjustments to credit terms, including deposits or upfront payments

Collections & Credit Monitoring

  • Proactively manage overdue accounts and track payment patterns
  • Escalate problem accounts and contribute to accurate forecasting of cash flow

Key Skills & Attributes

  • Experience: 5+ years in credit control, risk management, or similar financial role
  • Technical: Proficient in credit assessment tools (e.g. D&B), Excel, and financial systems
  • Solid understanding of financial data and credit risk principles
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and analytical capability
  • Confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Highly organised and comfortable in a fast-paced setting
