Sales Director - Electric Vehicle Chargers

Are you a driven and results-oriented sales professional with a passion for the electric vehicle industry?

We are actively seeking a highly capable and experienced Sales Director to lead the growth of a dynamic electric vehicle charger business!

As a Sales Director, you will lead the development and execution of the strategy for the Company's electric vehicle charger business in the UK.

Location :

UK-based role requiring travel, Commutable to Bristol

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the commercial strategy for an EVC business in the UK, encompassing pricing, product development, channel strategy, and market penetration.
  • Manage all commercial aspects of key accounts (KAMs), including contract negotiation and risk management.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, overseeing marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Collaborate with R&D, sales, and after-sales teams to optimise product strategy and operations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales and after-sales team.
  • Actively participate in business planning and strategic decision-making for the EVC business unit in the UK.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrotechnical/Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven track record in business development and sales management within the UK e-mobility sector (KAM experience a plus).
  • In-depth knowledge of the UK EVC market, including key players, technologies, and distribution channels.
  • Experience managing sales and after-sales teams.
  • Experience in public tender processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies and market research plans.
  • Strong IT skills (Office pack, CRM, Teams, SAP).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
