Juice Recruitment is excited to be working with a property company in Bristol, with the appointment of a Property Compliance & Relationship Manager to join their close-knit team.

They are seeking a proactive and detail-orientated individual, who will play a vital part in maintaining the quality and safety of a growing portfolio of properties, while also fostering excellent relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building trusted relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors across your region.
  • Overseeing local property compliance and ensuring every home meets current health, safety, and legal standards.
  • Coordinating with Asset Managers to keep properties continuously compliant.
  • Managing and filing key compliance documentation, including gas, electrical, EPC, and fire safety certificates.
  • Submitting and managing HMO licence applications and attending inspections with local councils.
  • Conducting fire risk assessments (FRAs) and ensuring weekly fire alarm checks are completed.
  • Monitoring contractor performance and ensuring works meet compliance expectations.
  • Completing compliance audits for newly onboarded properties within 10 days of integration.
  • Supporting the Asset Management team during seasonal changeovers.
  • Developing and managing reliable contractor networks.
  • Staying current with evolving property legislation and compliance requirements.

Compliance Requirements:

  • Fire Safety & Risk Assessments: Understanding fire safety regulations and conducting FRAs.
  • Gas & Electrical Safety: Familiarity with gas safety (CP12) and electrical safety (EICR) requirements.
  • Energy Performance: Knowledge of EPC and MEES regulations to maintain energy efficiency standards.
  • HMO Licensing: Experience managing HMO licences and inspections.
  • Health & Safety: Familiarity with HHSRS and identifying potential property hazards.

  • Highly organised and able to prioritise workload effectively.
  • Confidence working independently and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Commitment to delivering an excellent experience for landlords, tenants, and contractors.

About the role:

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 09:00 - 17:30
  • 15 Saturdays per year: 10:00 - 15:00 (on a rota basis).

Training & Development:

  • NEBOSH qualification (funded by the company - first attempt).
  • HHSRS training provided.
  • Internal compliance and safety training.
  • Ongoing training as legislation evolves.
