A leading European-wide supplier of Automatic and industrial door access solutions is seeking a skilled engineer to join their expanding service team, covering the Bristol, Gloucester, Swindon and Devon areas.

Role Overview:
As an Automatic Door Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of Automatic swing and slide doors, industrial doors, loading bay systems, and associated equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring equipment is safe, reliable, and fully operational for our clients across logistics, manufacturing, and distribution sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair automatic and industrial doors.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, carrying out repairs to minimise downtime.
Provide both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive service support.
Attend emergency call-outs on a rota basis (1 week in 5).
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety standards.
Maintain clear and accurate job records and documentation using company systems.
Deliver excellent customer service, representing the company in a professional manner.

Requirements:
- EN16005 and Proven experience working as an Automatic Door Engineer or in a similar field (automatic swing an slide doors, loading bays, dock levellers, shutters, or access systems).
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Flexibility to participate in the call-out rota and occasional overtime.
Excellent problem-solving ability and customer service skills.
