The Role

You will be joining the school as a Early Years Teaching Assistant, supporting the teacher and the children in creating enthusiastic lessons engaging children in indoor and outdoor activities. Ensure children reach their full potential, both academically and socially.

You will be required to to work on a full time basis until the end of the academic year with the potential to continue in September.

You will be expected to:

  • Have a clear understanding of the early years framework and expectations.

  • Be creative and work collaboratively to support teachers to plan fun lessons.

  • Have a great understanding of phonics.

  • Support the teacher with activities inside and outside of the classroom.

  • Be determined to succeed, who persevere and find ways to solve problems

  • Be enthusiastic to develop the children socially, physically and intellectually

  • Build resilience in pupils
