Summary

Our client, based across Greater Bristol, requires an Associate Electrical Design Engineer to support dynamic building services and low carbon design. You will work in the cutting edge of low energy building design.

Main responsibilities

  • Lead Electrical Engineers across simultaneous projects
  • AutoCAD/Revit and supervise drawings in 2D /3D design
  • Monitoring progress on site along with the preparation of regular reports/specifications
  • Supporting design teams and clients during design phase of projects
  • Supervising junior engineer
  • Represent the company with clients and support business development
  • Project Financial management

Essential

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 6 years’ experience of designing electrical systems (buildings)
  • Can lead projects & Teams (management and leadership)
  • Experience in software such as : Amtech, Autocad, Revit, IES or Dialux (Not all needed)

Desirable

  • 7 years’ experience of designing electrical systems for buildings
  • CEng - Chartered membership of a professional institution
  • Emerging Green technology knowledge (i.e. Storage of batteries, photovoltaics design or EV charging design)
  • Highly Experienced in Revit
  • BPSS
