This company has been specialising in building consulting for nearly 50 years, with a focus on delivery Net Zero Carbon (NZC) design. Advising on embodied and operational carbon, this company assists clients with decarbonisation strategies to achieve NZC through innovative products and installations.

In this role you will be designing electrical systems for commercial, industrial and residential buildings. You will be responsible for the design and engineering of lighting and power systems, electricity generating plants, and HV/LV power supplies. You will have the opportunity to work within a team both in the office and on-site visits, to ensure systems are installed correctly and advising clients.

The Role:

• Collaborate with the design team to produce concepts and technically compliant, detailed designs
• Undertake site surveys, inspections, provide written reports and reviews
• Produce detailed designs and specifications for engineering systems
• Ensure all designs are compliant and adhere to current government health and safety legislation
• Working with new technologies (Revit, TAS, MagiCAD)

The Person:

• Building services design experience
• Experience of software design (Relux/Dialux, Amtech, Revit etc.)
• HNC/Degree Qualified
