Electrician's Mate - Bristol - Immediate Start Available

Are you an aspiring electrician looking to gain valuable hands-on experience and develop your skills in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a motivated and reliable Electrician's Mate to join our busy team working on a variety of projects across the Bristol area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced, qualified electricians, assisting with a wide range of electrical installation, maintenance, and testing tasks. You will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting qualified electricians with the installation of wiring, conduit, containment systems (tray, trunking, basket), and electrical components.
  • Safely handling and organising tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Pulling cables and assisting with wiring terminations.
  • Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Learning and applying electrical principles and practices under supervision.
  • Undertaking general site duties as required to support the electrical team.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in an electrical environment or as an Electrician's Mate is highly desirable.
  • A valid ECS (Electrotechnical Certification Scheme) or CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card is essential.
  • A strong work ethic, reliability, and a proactive "can-do" attitude.
  • Eagerness to learn and take direction from experienced electricians.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic understanding of electrical tools and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Based in or able to commute to various sites across Bristol.
