Are you an aspiring electrician looking to gain valuable hands-on experience and develop your skills in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a motivated and reliable Electrician's Mate to join our busy team working on a variety of projects across the Bristol area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced, qualified electricians, assisting with a wide range of electrical installation, maintenance, and testing tasks. You will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting qualified electricians with the installation of wiring, conduit, containment systems (tray, trunking, basket), and electrical components.
- Safely handling and organising tools, equipment, and materials.
- Pulling cables and assisting with wiring terminations.
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Learning and applying electrical principles and practices under supervision.
- Undertaking general site duties as required to support the electrical team.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in an electrical environment or as an Electrician's Mate is highly desirable.
- A valid ECS (Electrotechnical Certification Scheme) or CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card is essential.
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and a proactive "can-do" attitude.
- Eagerness to learn and take direction from experienced electricians.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic understanding of electrical tools and safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Based in or able to commute to various sites across Bristol.
