Location:Avonmouth, Bristol (BS11)
Salary:£45,700 per annum + £2,100 on-call allowance (before callouts)

Hours:Monday Friday, 07:00 15:30
On-Call Rota:1 week in 4
We are currently recruiting for an experiencedElectrical Technicianto join a well-established process facility in Avonmouth. This is a key role within the on-site engineering team, responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of all mechanical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performroutine maintenance and repairof Electrical equipment.
- Diagnose faults and undertakecorrective and reactive maintenanceto minimize downtime.
- Participate in the delivery ofplant improvement projects, with a focus on increased reliability and cost reduction.
- Interpret and work fromP&IDs and instrument loop drawingsto guide your work.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and assist incontractor coordinationwhen required.
- Maintain compliance withhealth, safety, and environmental standards.
- Take part in theon-call rota (1 in 4 weeks)to respond to breakdowns outside regular working hours.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Qualification in Electrical Engineering (e.g.,City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 / HNCor equivalent).
- Previous experience working in aprocess or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity withComputerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Strongfault-finding and problem-solvingabilities.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
