PCB Assembler - Immediate start available - 14.00 to 15.00 per hour - Hours are 8am to 4.30pm & 8am (Mon to Thurs) and 8am to 12 noon on Fri (37.5 hrs per week) - Ongoing temporary work for an initial 3 month period - Based in Filton, Bristol

Do you have a strong background working as a PCB Assembler / SMT Technician and have previous experience working in the aerospace industry? We are recruiting a PCB Assembler / SMT Technician for our client based in Filton / Patchway, Bristol. Working as part of a small team and reporting to the department manager, this would suit someone who has experience working in a similar environment and has been trained to IPC standards.

Duties will include:

  • Assembly of Electro-Mechanical components
  • Prototype wiring
  • Soldering, potting and fault finding to component level
  • Quality checking and testing products

The successful candidate will have strong soldering skills and electronics knowledge working with PCBs. You will ideally be trained to IPC standards and be able to do some testing and troubleshooting. Previous experience working in a similar role within the Aerospace industry would be ideal, but not essential.
