This aircraft manufacturing company are seeking an experienced IT Specialist to join their dynamic team at the Filton site. As an IT Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the company's industrial information systems.

In this position, you will be responsible for planning, installing, and configuring software and hardware within the production assets. Your duties will include managing network equipment, maintaining accounts and workstations, and providing IT support to eliminate production deviations. You will also be responsible for managing hardware and software licensing, maintaining backups and restoring systems, and applying relevant security measures.

The ideal candidate for the IT Specialist role will have previous experience working in an industrial environment, supporting and maintaining information technology and systems. Knowledge of cyber security practices, particularly within an industrial context, is highly desirable. You should also have experience in performing software and system patch installations, as well as restoring backups.

Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively liaise with both IT professionals and end-users are essential. Experience in project management and a good understanding of Microsoft operating systems, including legacy systems, are also highly valued.
