What is the role?


As a Technical Trainee, you will work closely with experienced architectural technicians and engineers to learn the ropes of housebuilding. While no prior experience is required, we value qualities such as enthusiasm, adaptability, and a strong work ethic. This role offers an excellent opportunity for personal and professional growth within the technical field of housebuilding.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Issue out drawings either electronically or printed to internal and external sources
  • Review and update the NHBC portal with information that needs to be uploaded
  • Assist the technical team in their general administrative and ad hoc duties
What experience do I need?
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Keen to learn new skills like different software
  • A proven ability to work to, thrive on and meet tight deadlines
  • Self motivated and able to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team
  • A full UK driving licence is not essential at this stage but it would benefit as you may need to visit live sites
  • You will be expected to complete a HNC in 'construction and the built environment' on day release. This will be funded by the company
