Geoenvironmental Engineer

Irwin and Colton are excited to announce that we have been engaged by a leading material reuse and recycling specialist to recruit for a geoenvironmental engineer to join into a growing and developing team. The role will involve overseeing land remediation and earthworks across a diverse portfolio of sustainable land regeneration projects.

The key responsibilities of the Geoenvironmental engineer include:

  • Conduct tests and collect data on contaminated land and earthwork projects.
  • Conduct site visits and audits to oversee land remediation works.
  • Liaise with contractors, clients and key regulatory bodies such as the environment agency on a frequent basis.

The successful Geoenvironmental engineer will have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role ideally with a background in waste management or experience working with contaminated land.
  • An environmental, geoenvironmental or earth sciences related degree, and ideally holds a WAMITAB certificate.
  • A positive and enthusiastic approach, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
