Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Finance Analyst to join an exciting Professional Services company who are market leaders in what they do based in Bristol. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:

£50,000 - £55,000 plus bonus and hybrid remote working

Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Act as senior financial analyst providing the management team financial support and information to enable timely and accurate decision making
  • Perform financial estimates to support in collaboration with Business Partners and cross-functional teams to support the work scope, and provide regular reporting and presentations to Senior Leadership
  • Use a variety of tools and techniques to interpret, analyse and understand monthly performance information, the drivers behind any cost variances and support the preparation of mitigation and action plans to resolve any issues
  • Extracting data and compiling performance reports while assisting with preparing variance analyses
  • Manage the monthly and quarterly financial forecasting process across designated divisions
  • Calculate the potential impact of Risks and Opportunities and support operational teams to identify and implement mitigation plans driving profitability
  • Provide in-depth analysis and recommendations for the business and support strategy development and strategic direction for the financial operations team
  • Support the development of performance reporting metrics and management information for use by programme leadership team

Person specification:

  • ACA first mover from practice or CIMA/ACCA qualified within industry
  • Strong financial analysis skills and comfortable presenting to a wide range of stakeholders
  • Advanced level Excel
