Are you a skilled financial professional with expertise in cash management, reconciliation, and process improvements? We're looking for a Senior Cash Analyst to join this BS1 based businessAbout the RoleAs a Senior Cash Analyst, you'll ensure efficient cash processing, rent collection, reconciliation, and refund processing using both automated and manual processes. You'll collaborate with customer service and finance teams to optimise payment processes, manage accounts, and enhance system controls for daily income transactions.You will also play a key role in month-end responsibilities, compliance monitoring, and process improvement-helping to build a stronger financial system.Key Responsibilities

  • Process and review Direct Debit and Card collections.
  • Allocate and track daily direct credits across Income bank accounts.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations, control account reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Investigate chargebacks and Direct Debit issues.
  • Oversee refund processing across credit cards, manual payments etc
  • Ensure compliance with paperless Direct Debit regulations.
  • Support month-end close, reviewing high volumes of bank transactions to ensure accuracy.
  • Lead team management, including regular 1:1s and training initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and system efficiencies.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Studying or willing to study toward CIMA, ACCA, or AAT qualifications.
  • Solid understanding of financial processing environments and compliance.
  • Experience managing tight KPIs and SLAs.
  • Strong Excel skills (Lookups & Pivot tables).
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to organize workloads, meet deadlines, and develop strong working relationships.
