Senior Cash Analyst - BS1-Based Business

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with expertise in cash management, reconciliation, and process improvement? We're looking for a Senior Cash Analyst to join our dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring seamless financial operations.

About the Role

As a Senior Cash Analyst, you will be responsible for managing cash processing, rent collection, reconciliation, and refund transactions, using both automated and manual methods. You will work closely with customer service and finance teams to optimise payment processes, maintain accurate records, and enhance system controls for daily income transactions. Additionally, you will contribute to month-end procedures, compliance monitoring, and process improvements, strengthening the overall financial framework.Key Responsibilities

  • Process and review Direct Debit and Card payments efficiently.
  • Allocate and track daily direct credits across income bank accounts.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations, journal entries, and control account reconciliations.
  • Investigate chargebacks and resolve Direct Debit issues.
  • Oversee refund processing across multiple payment methods.
  • Ensure compliance with paperless Direct Debit regulations.
  • Support month-end close, maintaining accuracy across high-volume transactions.
  • Lead and manage team operations, including 1:1 meetings and training initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimisation.

What We're Looking For

  • Studying or willing to pursue CIMA, ACCA, or AAT qualifications.
  • Strong understanding of financial processing environments and compliance standards.
  • Experience managing KPIs and SLAs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Lookups & Pivot Tables).
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and foster strong working relationships.
