Description

• Manage the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Oversee reconciliation of supplier statements and resolve discrepancies effectively.
• Develop and implement accounts payable policies and procedures to streamline processes.
• Monitor and manage cash flow related to payables, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve queries and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
• Prepare and present accounts payable reports to senior management as required.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements related to accounts payable.
• Support the Accounting & Finance department with audits and other financial projects.

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Manager should have:

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role within the industrial and manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• The ability to manage a team and work collaboratively with other departments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex queries efficiently.
