Billing Manager

Morgan McKinley are delighted to be working with a professional services firm in Central Bristol who are looking for a new Billing Manager.

This Billing Manager position would require someone to be in the office 2 days a week.

Key Responsibilities for this Billing Manager role include:

• Lead, develop, and support the billing team while remaining hands-on with complex billing tasks.
  
• Act as the firm's billing Subject Matter Expert, managing split bills, eBilling, and other complex scenarios.
  
• Build strong relationships with partners and practice leaders to drive proactive, consistent billing practices.
  
• Oversee onboarding of new partners and clients, including eBilling migrations and system integrations.
  
• Review Work in Progress (WiP) and billing workflows to identify process improvements and efficiency gains.
  
• Identify and resolve root causes of billing issues, collaborating closely with finance and credit control teams.Track and report on billing KPIs to drive performance and continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience leading a legal billing or revenue control function.Strong technical understanding of legal billing systems and eBilling platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Process-driven, proactive, and detail-oriented leader.

The package:

• Salary - 45,000 - 55,000
