We’re working with a fast-growing business in the logistics and supply chain sector to appoint a Finance Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) to take ownership of financial operations and play a key role in supporting strategic growth.

Role

As Finance Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day finance activities, deliver accurate reporting, and partner with senior leadership to drive performance. You’ll also be involved in system improvements, automation initiatives, and financial modelling to support business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead month-end, reconciliations, and management reporting
  • Prepare financial statements and board packs
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, VAT, and tax
  • Partner with operational and commercial teams to deliver insights
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
  • Liaise with auditors, advisors, and banking partners
  • Drive process improvements and system integration (Xero/SAP)

About You

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • 5+ years’ PQE, ideally with logistics/supply chain exposure
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge (UK GAAP)
  • Proficiency in Xero and/or SAP, plus advanced Excel
  • Excellent communicator and natural business partner
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, complex environment
