This newly created position of Financial Reporting Manager will play a pivotal role in our client's high performing Financial Reporting and Tax team in Bristol. Our client adopts a hybrid working model that would require you in a Bristol office 3 days per week. The office is easily accessible, with plenty of free parking, and a lovely environment to work in with many on site facilities.

Responsibilities of the Financial Reporting Manager will include but not be limited to:
- Overseeing, planning and delivering on annual and half-year reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and building relationships with stakeholders.
- Line management of the financial reporting team overseeing task and performance management, supporting learning and development and fostering a culture of continuous feedback.
- Leading the team in external and internal audits, providing necessary support and ensuring audit readiness.
- Managing a fast, controlled monthly ledger closed process, including journal reviews, controls and reconciliations.
- Owning and updating the group consolidation model and chart of accounts as needed.
- Providing financial analysis for decision-making, offering accounting guidance, responding to queries and driving process improvements.
Your Profile:
- Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with significant post qualification experience.
- Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Excellent mathematical, analytical, problem solving and communication abilities.
- Proven ability to lead a team to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to varied audiences.
- Advanced MS Excel, Microsoft Office and accounting software skills.
In return, the successful candidate can expect a salary of up to £90,000 plus benefits including 15% non-contributory pension, discretionary bonus scheme, private medical insurance, vehicle scheme and much more.
