Our agency is thrilled to be working with this Independent Financial Advisers, based in a gorgeous barn conversion style office, in the beautiful countryside on the outskirts of Bristol,

The business is once again looking for a people-focused, adaptable and IT-literate individual to join their wonderful team.

Ideal for a new entrant to the industry, looking for "on the job" learning. Over the years this business has supported its employees in their progression from entry level Administrators, to Paraplanners, Technical Specialists, Researchers and Financial Advisers.

More about the role:

As a Financial advisers, the business aims to provide an exceptional level of service to all of its clients and you will play an instrumental role in them achieving this, and become a valued member of this collaborative team.

You will 'learn the ropes’ as a front-of-house Administrator - this is a vitally important position as you will be the first person to speak to clients (both existing and prospective) on the telephone and the first to welcome them into the office.

You’ll work closely alongside our team of Administrators and Paraplanners to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our back office records and processes

The role extends to keeping the office well-presented and well-stocked, including organising any maintenance work as necessary for our equipment, IT systems and office buildings.

This is a full time, fully office-based role with normal working hours of 8.45am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45am to 12.45pm on Fridays to align with our current office opening hours. As our offices are based just South of Bristol, own transport is a necessity.

Key Criteria from applicants.

  • The business maintains high standards to keep in line with clients high expectations. This means that you need a super keen eye for detail, sound numerical skills and a high standard of written English (demonstrated by a minimum Level 5/C grade in English and Maths at GCSE level, or equivalent). A calm but confident manner, the ability to think laterally and a can-do attitude are crucial. Given the nature of the work, complete discretion is also vital.
  • Excellent IT skills and working knowledge of Office365 (MS Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook) are essential. Training will be provided in using their back office software and investment platforms.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience within an office environment, or perhaps within other areas of financial services, but we welcome applications from those with strong IT skills who have experience of providing top tier customer service in other settings.
