People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in the Bristol area.

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a 7.5 Tonne Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• Delivering bins to new customers
• Operate and drive various 7.5 Tonne vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Collecting bins from customers
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
• Yard duties such as organising bin store, litter picking, cleaning and light repairs.

Essential Skills

As a 7.5 Tonne Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category C1 Licence
• Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving C1 vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
• Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills

• Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
