The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a well-established and highly regarded accountancy firm who are looking to expand their team with the addition of a Trainee Accountant.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least one year of experience in an accountancy practice who is now looking to take the next step in their career, continue their professional studies, and grow within a supportive and progressive environment.

What you will do

  • Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts
  • Prepare VAT returns and assist with bookkeeping duties
  • Support the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns
  • Work closely with senior colleagues to support audits and ad-hoc projects

What you will need

  • A minimum of 12 months’ experience working in an accountancy practice
  • Studying or looking to study AAT
  • A good working knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Clear and professional communication skills
