We are assisting a provider of affordable housing with their search for an Asset Surveyor - Retrofit on a permanent basis in Bristol.

We are looking for an experienced individual who can

  • Provide a high-quality customer-focused and professional Asset Management service taking the lead on surveying and contractor management of the retrofit programme.
  • Deliver large / complex works, planned programmes and other major works projects.

Duties will include:

  • Manage a programme of retrofitting to identified stock, including external and internal wall insulation, ventilation and heating innovation.
  • Maintaining accurate records to demonstrate properties meet EPC targets of C and above.
  • Contract management of a variety of contractors.
  • Maintenance and management of budgets associated with the projects.
  • Identifying and reporting any safeguarding or customer related vulnerability issues.
  • Delivering a range of pre and post works inspections to ensure the right work is completed to a high standard
  • Providing high quality project and contract management services, ensuring that projects are delivered to a high quality, on time, to budget and with high levels of customer satisfaction.

The suitable candidate for this position will have

  • A relevant qualification plus experience of working in a similar role
  • Experience of Social Housing
  • Knowledge around Energy efficiency of properties
  • Good practical knowledge of working with asbestos and working within CDM regulation
  • Strong Contract & Project management experience

Office attendance would be required 3 times per week, coupled with the ability to travel across the patch when required.
