Our client is looking for a passionate and skilled Building Physics Engineer to join their growing team in Bristol. This is a great opportunity to get involved in the full scope of building performance design-from early-stage modelling to energy assessments and sustainability strategy-on a wide range of impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

路Carry out dynamic thermal modelling, overheating assessments, and energy analysis (IESVE)
路Undertake SBEM calculations and EPC assessments as a qualified Non-Domestic Energy Assessor (NDEA)
路Contribute to sustainability strategies and support BREEAM assessments (ENE 01, HEA credits etc.)
路Provide design guidance on daylighting, natural ventilation, and thermal comfort
路Collaborate closely with MEP design engineers and sustainability consultants
路Prepare clear reports and present results to clients and design teams
路Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and CIBSE guidelines

What They're Looking For:

路Degree-qualified in Building Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Design or similar
路Experience working in building services or sustainability consultancy
路Qualified NDEA (Level 4 or above)
路Skilled in IES VE and/or other relevant simulation tools
路Understanding of BREEAM requirements, especially energy and comfort-related credits
路Strong written and verbal communication skills
路A proactive, detail-focused approach and genuine passion for sustainable design
