Contentious Probate | Tier 1 | Career Progression | Non-Corporate Culture | Hybrid Legal 500 firm in Bristol looking to expand its specialist Contentious Probate team, currently sitting at 10 heads, at the 0-4 PQE level. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about contentious trusts and estates work to develop within a supportive, experience led environment.The team sits within the wider Dispute Resolution department, giving you access to cross-disciplinary support and a collaborative working culture. You’ll be joining a well-established team recognised for handling high-value, complex matters across both contentious and non-contentious trusts and estates. Senior members are full ACTAPS and STEP members.The role offers the chance to build and manage your own caseload of contentious probate matters, including trust and will disputes, claims under the Inheritance Act 1975, disputes involving personal representatives, burial and ashes disagreements, and professional negligence claims. Ideally you will have a background in litigation and/or private client work, with a desire to specialise in contentious probate. A client-centred, empathetic approach is essential, as is the ability to manage matters independently and collaboratively within a busy team.
