I am working very closely with a technology company servicing the world’s major entertainment and music brands, founded in 2004. Over the past 20 years, the team has developed platforms for over 50 global clients and agencies. Working with the Music Industry’s largest WordPress Content Management solution, as well as Shopify extensions to support NFTs, Headless Shopify Commerce and the world’s biggest e-commerce platform for store owners.Their culture is fast paced and collaborative. They love learning and are constantly developing and exploring new technologies, and approaches to continuously improve what they do - inside and out.This is a growing business and we’re looking for a DevOps Lead/CTO to oversee a team of highly skilled engineers and support staff.What you’ll be doing:The DevOps Lead/CTO is a pivotal role that combines hands-on development with leadership responsibilities, guiding a team of cross-functional developers in creating high-quality full-stack web solutions. This role demands a deep involvement in the development process, technical decision-making, and strategic leadership to drive project success and team growth. Technology stack: AWS, JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, Shopify, React, NodeJs, WordPressWhat experience you will need to apply:
  • Extensive experience in technology leadership roles.
  • Proven experience leading technology strategy within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of software development, architecture, and system integration.
  • Previous experience with the following technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, and/or Node.js.
  • Experience with web development projects using Shopify and WordPress.
  • Proven ability as a people manager, with demonstrable experience managing cross-functional development teams and delivering results in a dynamic environment.
  • Deep technical expertise in scalable web application development and a thorough understanding of AWS services and DevOps.
  • Strong negotiation and coaching skills, with a proven track record in fostering high-performance team environments.
  • Ability to influence and create a participative, empowered atmosphere that fosters high-performance cultures within teams and individuals.
