Juice Recruitmentis delighted to be working in partnership with an online retail company, with the appointment of a Demand Planner. They are a family run business who have clients throughout the UK and Europe.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in forecasting and purchasing products that align with market and company requirements, while minimising operational costs and maintaining product availability.

DAY TO DAY:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the demand and forecast planning for a wide range of products.
  • Using statistical methods, sales data, market trends to predict future product demand and contributing to business strategy planning.
  • Liaising with sales, finance and marketing teams to gather information e.g. promotions, product launches or economic shifts.
  • Generating reports assessing forecast accuracy and inventory performance.
  • Working closely with suppliers to manage product quantity and submit orders.
  • Contribute to supplier negotiation.
  • Implement best practices and adopt new technologies, attending conferences and seminars with industry experts.

About You:

  • Experience in a Demand Planning or Purchasing role.
  • Strong understanding of the business environment and market dynamics.
  • Excellent numeric ability.
  • Previous experience with data analysis and proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
  • A proactive thinker.
