Are you an experienced IES Modeller driven by sustainable design and building strong client partnerships? A top-tier multidisciplinary consultancy in Bristol is expanding its sustainability team and is on the lookout for a confident and capable modeller to take on a pivotal role.

About the Role:
In this position, you will act as a technical specialist, delivering advanced thermal simulations and performance modelling using IES VE across a wide range of projects-from commercial spaces to low-carbon residential builds. Your expertise will go beyond modelling, as you'll also play a key part in client engagement-translating complex data into actionable design advice and helping guide sustainable choices from early concept through to project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed thermal and energy models using IES VE
Provide advice on Part L compliance, overheating risks, and pathways to net zero
Attend client meetings, presenting technical results in clear, accessible language
Collaborate with in-house teams to deliver integrated, sustainable design solutions

What We're Looking For:

At least 2 years of hands-on experience with IES VE software
Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, particularly Part L and TM59
Excellent communication skills and confidence in client-facing environments
A degree in sustainability, building services, environmental design, or a related field
Familiarity with BREEAM, LEED, or NABERS is an advantage
Understanding of HVAC systems and energy compliance tools such as SAP or SBEM
