Position: Full Time 37 hrs per week worked Monday to Thursday 0900 1700 and Friday 0900-1630.Hybrid working: - a minimum of 4 days worked in the Bristol Office (BS16 7FL) each week during probation. 3 office days per week, once probation is passed.
Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum (dependant on experience).

Main Duties:
Working with the wider AMX team, this role will assist the team in the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions to new and existing clients to meet client requirements. This role requires any work to be delivered in a timely and controlled manner, with a focus on project detail and specifics.
All new starters undergo a probationary period with monthly meetings with their Line Manager to help stay on track, resolve any issues and identify training needs to help them achieve standard within 6 months. You will be expected to work from the office for a minimum of 4 days a week during your probation. Its always varied and interesting with the aim to retain and develop employees within AMX.
Key Responsibilities:-
This role would suit either a newly qualified candidate with excellent technical data manipulation skills looking for their first, or someone with limited experience looking to expand their career, to acquire hands-on business experience within a fast-moving client-facing team.
Primary Configuration and Data Analysis:
Configure the software product to meet client requirements
Assist with data imports from existing client asset system into AMX including data cleansing and transformation.
Create client support documentation, where required.
Adhere to best working practices as defined in ISO & AMX Policies.
Secondary Account/Project Management Support
Customer facing support to capture clients software needs to generate and agree requirement specifications.
Offer full support for Implementation and all migration activities
Support project management of the full Software Implementation Life Cycle including scoping, through installation to go live and beyond
Using Agile Project Management, create and update project artifacts including product and sprint backlogs.
Define tasks to deliver requirements and work with Development team to deliver.
Support documentation creation including support articles, client training, manuals and client specific user guides.
Adhere to best working practices as defined in ISO & AMX Policies.
Key Objectives:-
1)Assist in delivery of AMX to new clients in timely and controlled fashion.
2)Assist in delivery of new functionality / sector modules to existing clients.
3)Work to improve the quality, reliability and performance of AMX product solutions to:
a)Meet client and company expectations.
b)Develop robust, reliable solutions in new sectors.
c)Create an outstanding / intuitive AMX user experience.
d)Produce an outstanding quality product in the competitive market.
Essential Experience/Skills:-
High level Excel skills for data manipulation e.g. V-Lookups.
High level wider Microsoft Office suite skills.
Understanding of relational databases e.g. Structured Query Language (SQL).
Proactive approach to problem solving
Good written and verbal skills.
Ability to self-motivate and self-manage working both independently and within the wider Business Dev Team. Team Player who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Quick learner with ability to retain technical detail and recall project specifics with ease.
Ability to work with the development team.
Desirable Experience/Skills:
Software Test framework expertise.
Agile Project Management experience.
Working knowledge of programming and / or query language.
Working with MS Azure.
Knowledge of different testing methodology.
Previous experience working with ISO (9001 & 27001) would be advantageous.
Knowledge of data migration / data verification.
Essential Qualifications:
The candidate must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK at Right to Work Check - UK
University degree in Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (eg Computer Science, Maths, Physics) or equivalent related subject e.g. NVQ 5/6.
English or similar, with good grammar and attention to detail.
Desirable Qualifications: -
ISEB (Information System Examination Board) / ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) accredited for software/systems testing.
