This Nursery in the BS16 area is looking for a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join their team as soon as possible.

This nursery provides a safe environment where children can explore, experiment, plan and make decisions for themselves. The Role

A Level 3 Early Years Practitioner plays a key role in supporting the learning, development, and care of young children, typically from birth to five years old. You will plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote all areas of development, including communication, physical skills, and emotional well-being. Practitioners observe and assess children's progress, working closely with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure each child's needs are met. You will also help maintain a safe, stimulating environment and follow safeguarding and welfare policies in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

You will be expected to:

  • Holds a relevant childcare qualification (e.g., Level 3 in Early Years Education).

  • Demonstrates a warm, nurturing, and patient approach with children.

  • Understands child development and uses this to plan age-appropriate activities.

  • Promotes a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.

  • Builds strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

  • Follows safeguarding procedures and ensures child welfare is a top priority.

  • Supports children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.

  • Encourages curiosity, creativity, and independence through play-based learning.
