This Nursery in the BS16 area is looking for a Level 3 qualified nursery practitioner

to join their team as soon as possible.

This nursery provides a safe environment where children can explore, experiment, plan and make decisions for themselves. Their ethos has always been to promote a loving, caring and totally inclusive environment that nurtures children’s unique qualities and potential, thus empowering them to become lifelong learners.

The Role

A Level 3 qualified nursery practitioner is responsible for providing high-quality care and early education for children, typically aged 0-5 years. You will plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), monitor and support each child's development, and maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment. You will also be building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, contributing to assessments and learning journals, and uphold safeguarding, health, and safety standards. This role requires a proactive, caring individual with solid knowledge of child development and effective communication skills.

You’d be expected to:

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate, engaging activities based on the EYFS framework

  • Observe, monitor, and record children’s development and progress

  • Support children’s physical, emotional, and social needs

  • Provide daily care routines including feeding, toileting, and hygiene

  • Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed

  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and carers

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and attend team meetings

  • Support the inclusion of all children, including those with additional needs
