We’re working with a rapidly growing medical device manufacturer that’s on the lookout for a hands-on Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to support operations.

This is a great opportunity for someone who’s flexible, self-sufficient, and ready to take full ownership of on-site engineering support.

?? What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading day-to-day engineering activities as the primary on-site engineer.
  • Supporting a smooth transition (handover period currently underway).
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting factory machinery (heat welding and foam/plastic bonding equipment).
  • Creating and implementing preventative maintenance plans.
  • Provide technical training to production staff.
  • Getting involved in the upcoming automation phase, including Siemens-controlled machinery and a new packaging line.

?? What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Comfortable working solo - you’ll be the go-to engineer on site.
  • Familiar with pneumatics and ideally Siemens control systems.
  • Background in any regulated industry (medical device not essential).
  • Experience in heat welding plastic parts is a bonus.
